I felt like this technology class was beneficial to most students in the class. Clearly, with a group of over 30 adults there is a WIDE variety in abilities when it comes to technology. I feel like the assignments and activities were decently appropriate in that people could differentiate in how much they did based on their abilities.

My thoughts on some specifics.... Google sites are decent, but they are frustrating to people. To be honest, I didn't love the way the editor works. I tend to like blogs better for teacher sites for their ease of use. One thing I found successful is to have teachers write a post, then write a post with a picture, then embed a video, then create a page... could help in the future.

I like photo story. I think it is a great tool. I just wish it was updated. I hate that it uses old school controls, and only produces full screen videos. I tried searching around for a comparable free tool and couldn't find anything which is a bummer. I think Photo Story is going to become a forgotten product which is a shame because of it's ease of use.

I bet many people in this class will probably use the things they learned here moreso than in the rest of the program. I don't know if that speaks to the true need for technology professional development, or perhaps the need for better best practices instruction in the other courses.
